Serving the Islamic Society of Frederick (ISF), where he provides religious leadership, teaches Qur’an and Islamic studies, offers counseling and guidance, and works to strengthen the spiritual growth of individuals and families within the community.
A graduate of Al-Azhar University in Islamic Theology, Imam Ibrahim brings over 15 years of experience in Islamic leadership, Qur’an instruction, Arabic education, youth mentoring, and community engagement across the United States, Malaysia, and Egypt.
Before joining ISF in 2023, Imam Ibrahim served as an Imam and educator in Connecticut and spent seven years teaching Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic studies in Malaysia. He has also led Taraweeh and Eid prayers and actively served in Islamic educational and community programs.
Dedicated to lifelong learning and professional growth, Imam Ibrahim is passionate about helping individuals strengthen their iman, deepen their relationship with Allah, and foster a welcoming, caring, and united Muslim community. He is committed to serving a diverse congregation with sincerity, compassion, and wisdom.
