Movie Showing to Multi faith Audience

Event Summary
ISF hosted a showing of the Movie ‘Sultan and the Saint‘ on 05/04/2018 to a multi-faith audience of Baptists, Unitarian Universalists, Mormons, Quakers, and other faiths. An interesting conversation followed the movie and the guests observed maghrib prayers afterward.
St. John’s Catholic Preparatory High School visit

Event Summary
Students from St. John’s Catholic School, visited ISF on December 01, 2017 to learn about Islam. Regional scholar, Imam Faruq Post led the discussion and answered the students’ questions. Later, they attended the Friday khutba and observed the prayers. Their teacher, Tim Van Schaick observed later that the students had many positive things to say about the visit and it led to great discussions in the classroom.
